From Idea to Onchain Reality

Join builders from across Indonesia to create the next wave of industry-defining onchain applications.

The Base Indonesia Hackathon 2025 (Dec 10, 2025 – Jan 31, 2026) is a hackathon designed to help teams turn ideas into real, functional onchain products—and accelerate Indonesia’s Web3 ecosystem.

Hosted and operated by BlockDevId, supported by Base, IDRX & Thetanuts Finance, this hackathon gives teams the resources, guidance, and momentum needed to build and ship.

Overview

This hackathon brings together Indonesia’s strongest Web3 builders to create impactful applications on Base. Over the course of several weeks, teams receive mentorship, technical support, ecosystem connections, and the opportunity to pitch live for 6,000 USDC in prizes.

Mission:
Build real onchain products that solve real problems—and push Indonesia’s onchain future forward.

Challenge Tracks

Participants will build solutions under two innovation tracks, each supporting different onchain use cases.
Your project must be functional and deployed on Base.

🟦 Base Track

Build a Base Mini-App that elevates the onchain user experience.
Solve meaningful UX challenges:

  • Complex DeFi processes
  • Lack of social coordination
  • Poor onboarding
  • Limited accessibility for retail users

Leverage:

  • Base L2 (fast, secure, low-cost)
  • OnchainKit (plug-and-play UX)
  • Base SDKs & tools

Integrate IDRX to be eligible for the Best Project (IDRX) bonus prize.

🟩 Thetanuts Track

Build a Thetanuts-powered DeFi application that makes options simple, accessible, and engaging for everyday users.

Focus on:

  • Gamified and intuitive UI
  • AI-powered onboarding
  • Personalized strategy guidance
  • Campaign-driven engagement loops (missions, streaks, instant rewards)

Use Thetanuts Finance infrastructure to deliver a retail-friendly onchain DeFi experience.

This hackathon is for:

  • Indonesian Web3 builders & startup teams (1–5 members)
  • Teams with a working MVP or prototype

Opportunity: Network School Residency

Beyond prizes, select high-performing teams may be nominated by the Base Team for a 1-month Network School Residency—a global builder program designed to accelerate exceptional onchain projects.

Please note:

  • Hackathon winners are not guaranteed residency selection
  • Selection is made solely by the Base Team, based on project quality and team execution
